Job Description

Job Summary:
This individual will be responsible for managing day to day operations throughout the supply chain covering functions of material supply (planning, sourcing & purchase), production, manufacturing engineering and logistics, and incorporating new business into these operations as we grow. Primary importance will be placed on streamlining operations existing processes, building quality products and assuring on-time delivery in pursuit of overall operations excellence.
1. • Formulate and implement demand & operations plan, manufacturing policies & procedures
2. • Develop short- and longer-term plans that guide the effective allocation and best utilization of relevant resources toward the fulfillment of pre-determined targets of quality, delivery, cost and inventory and customer satisfaction
3. • Manage day-to-day operations and all phases of production to ensure high quality products output in a timely manner, continuous process improvement with strict quality control, and develop manufacturing growth and expansion plan for company
4. • Supply chain management to ensure the required technical and quality standards are in accordance with the company target to control and reduce operations cost in sourcing & purchase, production, delivery and logistic arrangement.
5. • Employ “lean” and “6 sigma” methodologies to place robust process quality control, increase manufacturing throughput, improve automation where appropriate, and build supply chain efficiency and productivity in sourcing and logistic to achieve operations excellence
6. • Maintain contacts within the general management, quality, engineering, sales and marketing, and financial and administrative functions as well as overseas counterparts to achieve integrated management actions and promote a spirit of company teamwork.
7. • Maintain safety operations and compliance with relevant regulations
8. • Coordinate company activity with other companies to ensure good communications and operations collaboration (e.g. operations committee, EHS committee, lean projects)

Job Requirements

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related disciplines, MBA is preferable
2. At least 7+ years at operations managerial level in international environment
3. Strong leadership abilities, conflict management ability and being able to work under pressure and to tight schedules.
4. Solid knowledge and experience in plant operations covering production/quality/operating system/delivery/cost control and hands-on production approach
5. Strong sense of urgency and ability to execute effectively & quickly
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and strong decision making capabilities
7. Good command of English, both spoken and written.
8. Strong knowledge & experience of MS Office and ERP system
