Job Description

Key Tasks:

       Leading the technical support team to provide the professional support to customers in Asia Pacific Region
Responsible for all the technical procedures of new products, materials or processing technologies development, from testing, qualification to final application to market
Developing new accounts with the sales team using technologies and products
Ensuring the transfer of technical knowledge between different manufacturing facilities

      Responsible for all customer technical activities within Asia

  • Line management of Technical Support team-engineers and technicians and workshop facilities
  • Development of specific account strategies with the sales manager
  • Assist with the development of new accounts using Technology
  • When necessary take responsibility for resolving business critical situations involving the performance of our products at customers
  • Proactively indentify opportunities to form new product developments or sales opportunities within the markets available 
  • Run projects to qualify materials with existing or new customers. Manage all aspects of the project, from testing to customer communication, to ensure delivery to agreed timescale and budget
  • Run projects to develop new materials or processing technologies from initial development activities, through manufacturing development to market introduction
  • Coordinate reporting of data to the market through Technical Datasheets
  • Promote business interests through presentations at industry conferences and seminars
  • Ensure that the customer processing requirements are properly understood through in-house testing and then communicated correctly to the customer
  • Ensure all activities are well organized and regularly updated on relevant systems. Provide a weekly report to the Technical Support Manager and technical support of activities and status

Job Requirements

Intensive experience in composites industry

Good management skill

Presentation skill and communication skill

Fluent English is a must
