Our client is a leading international manufacturer of connecting solutions setting up the business from 1940, now running the business in USA, UK, Germany, Spain, France, Australian, Korea, Japan, and China with around 1,500 professional team around the world, located the Head office in Switzerland, which product application into General Industrial, Automotive taken around 70% of their Sales revenue and Asia contributed around 25% in the past year constantly with more.

  

 

In China, they are with Sales Office in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing since the year of 1996 setting up the business and manufacturing in China, now they are fast moving with the business in China with around 300 team members now. Currently they are looking for a high caliber for Sales Manager-China to gain a stronger foothold in the quick connect market and further strengthens its position as one of the leading suppliers of connecting technology to the automotive industry

 

Job Title: China Sales Manager-Automotive

 

Report to: Sales Director-Asia Pacific located in Japan

 

Team Size: around 15 team members

 

Location: Shanghai Downtown

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Investigate & analyze customer / market requirements, deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
  • Product development process, supplier development, Product Launch Package, product training & seminar; work on the product-related procedure.
  • Solve the product-related issues .
  • Lead and accomplish each BU development target.
  • Lead and manage the Sales Team and manage part-time staff in regions to accomplish the annual sales target.
  • Regular report to Sale Director business updates and account / project information.
  • As per the department organization and KPI, effectively to manage the appointed area customers and local sales team, as well as the implementation on marketing strategy, local action plan and KPI targets. Effectively in charge of supervision and guidance of area team and BD.
  • To organize the target market research and analysis with Marketing Support Manager / Product Dept., participate in new product/market promotion planning and implementation. To share own relevant business information and experience with BD team.
  • Offer sales / technical support and coordination, design the product/service solution for customer projects with own BD team members. Implement fixed KPI_BD / trade show and customer seminar plan. Attach self to all quotations/contracts review process of own BD team, Monitor the CRDP progress and performance, with the feedback and team discussion, optimize the sales and CR scheme, finish own subordinates’ KPI  appraisal and report by monthly.
  • With favorable communication skill and working efficiency, dispose and accomplish account management job as required CR process.
  • Ensure effective communication and close work between customers and each dept. of OCH.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
