Job Title: Quality manager

Report to: General Manager (Foreigner)

Working Location: Guangzhou City



§  Ensure that nonconforming products are not delivered to the customer.

§  Promote and implement the zero defect strategy and the continuous improvement process.

§  Promote the implementation and development of the Business Management System.

§  Establish a stable, efficient and capable team in cooperation with Head of Quality Management.

§  Ensure effective and efficient testing processes in production and quality lab.


Principal duties

§  Plan, coordinate, organize, manage and review internal quality audits of the TS 16949 Quality System to ensure conformance;

§  Follow up all quality related non conformances found during audits to ensure corrective action has been taken;

§  Ensure all testing and measuring equipment is maintained, verified and accurate as per the procedures outline in the TS 16949 Quality System;

§  Responsible for Automotive customer audit;

§  Carry out assigned tasks during production process design (e.g. Initial Sampling);

§  Provide APQP project support for new parts introduction;

§  Plan, implement and monitor required tests and inspections in laboratory;

§  Take leadership for D0 – D3 for customer complaints. Team member or 8D leadership in 8D problem solving process for customer complaints;

§  Control of nonconforming products (incl. stop production of nonconforming and suspicious products);

§  Administration of measuring and testing equipment (e.g. purchasing, registration, calibration);

§  Planning and execution of audits and monitoring of implementation of corrective actions;

§  Support the Group BMS development, translation, implementation (e.g. training) and maintenance.



Job Requirements

§   Bachelor’s Degree or above in mechanical engineering or similiar fields

§ Hand-on experience in quality management and people management

§  Extensive experience with TS-16949

§  Experience interfacing with automotive OEM customers

§  Fluent English is a strong plus
