Sales Manager – e-Commerce
Location: Hangzhou/Shanghai (Flexible)
Job description
Your main responsibilities will be:
• E-commerce strategy – Set up and improve the model for our different brands.
• Sales Management - Manage all aspects of the relationship with Dot Com retailers, in particular Alibaba.com and JD.com, as well as our own branded eShops.
• Product Assortment - Define the right product offering for the Chinese market. Develop and execute strategies and tools for new product launches and maintain consistent brand representation across all products spread over multiple brands.
• Marketing Budget - Identify and implement marketing initiatives and levering available tools for your account like reviews, details pages, promotional deals, participation to site-wide events, ads, etc. to increase sales whilst keeping track of ROI.
• Digital Marketing - Work with the digital marketing team on strategies to build traffic, glance views and SEO. Research all options of your accounts in terms of digital marketing and work out a strategy to increase our brand awareness and eventually our sales.
• Direct Marketing – Understand the different tools of direct marketing and implement them within your strategies to grow our online business and gain brand awareness. In depth knowledge of retargeting, optimize utilization of e-mail marketing. Work out a plan to increase the engagement of consumers.
• Sales Analysis & Reporting - Supervise the Sales Analyst in reporting of the sales. Work with the Sales Analyst to create a reporting format ideal for the Chinese market. Analyze trends in sales on weekly base.
• Clicks & Bricks – Advise local sales managers on how to optimize their omni channel accounts based upon your specialist experience.
• Logistics - Work with the logistics team and operational center in Hong Kong to improve inventory efficiency to surpass account performance goals.

Job Requirements


• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or business related field
• You have 5 years of eCommerce experience and a proven record on how to drive sales on Alibaba.com and/or JD.com
• You have excellent Chinese and English language skills
• You have an analytical mindset, strong familiarity with budgets and understand that interpreting results is as important as achieving them
• You are independent, but also work well in a team setting
• You are flexible & adaptable
• You have an enterpreneurial mindset and reach for the sky
• You are able to plan, schedule, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
• You are passionate about healthy living / cooking
• You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• You’ll be working from a shared office in China mainland and report on a daily base to our HK e-commerce team.
