Job Description

 Our client is a multinational company from Canada with a long history, with the manufacturing  globally 8 plants staffed with  employees of 5,000 in 5 Continentals ,including USA, Mexico, European and China,offering the interior such as Foaming and decorate textile for the seating system  for the automotive industry.. China plant is newly set-up , located in Changzhou City , now with the business expansion, they are looking for ,

Title: Plant Manager
Report to : GM Asia based in Canada
Working Location: Changzhou City
Main Accountabilities:
1. Responsible foroperations plan, KPI and overall manage planning, production, maintainance, logstics, manufacturing engineering etc to ensure on time delivery of qualified products to customers.
2. Ensure normal operations of all machines & toolings in new plant to support the production;
3. Responsible for quality control of the products, implementing and improving quality system.
4. Optimize workforce levels with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plan.
5. Develop, implement and monitor EHS related activities.
6. Lead, guide and drive continuous improvement activities in new plant , optimize resources and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of plant facility
7. Initiate and coordinate major projects.
8. Lead plant management team, coaching the people and bulid high performance culture

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above in manufacturing or engineering background
2. 10 years experience in Auto industry with more than 5 years in management position, from automotive interior background will be more preferrable 
3. Strong integrity, continusous improvement mindset, result driven, and good at building effective teams and motivating others.
4. Flunent verbal and written English
5. A stong team leadership and good coaching skills
