Job Description

 Our client is a global leading company offering automation solutions, to meet with their development, they are now looking for calibers to join

the working location: Malaysia

Detailing of automated assembly stations located in the field.
Create mechanical design output for assigned systems and stations including assembly drawings, bills of material, detail drawings, station descriptions, and I/O designations.
Conduct vendor correspondence and Requests for Quotation.
Travel to customer site if required for evaluation and information gathering to enable design change
Participate in internal and customer reviews, as required.
Estimate and document station cycle times.
Support the build processes throughout the purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, and debug phases of the assigned projects with information as required.
With Minimal Guidance:
Awareness of scheduling and budgetary requirements.
Review design input information (Confirmation of Order, costing, schedule, customer parts, etc.).
Review technical and budgetary details with assigned project resource, i.e. Project Engineer, Service Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager.
Produce Test Plans and Risk Analyses as required
Control and complete documentation of field changes through delivery of updates to the customer


making continuous improvements as required.

Job Requirements


As needed, support the development of machine manuals by updating documentation.
As needed, support Concept Engineering and Sales during the development of quotation and Confirmation of Order.
As needed, assist in the development of standards in mechanical design.
As needed, assist in projects the Project Engineers or Engineering Management may be involved in to further the company’s goals.
As needed, assist in department employee training, informal and formal.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2-10 Years Automation Design experience
Knowledge of automation design, strong mechanical system emphasis. 
Proficient in 3-D CAD, MS Office
Working knowledge of MRP systems
Capable of performing advanced mechanical engineering computations
Capable of performing tolerance stack up calculations
Comprehensive knowledge of department and companywide ISO procedures
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to apply basic Geometric Tolerancing and Dimensioning
Knowledge of basic machining practices
