Job Description

Our client is a leading international Life science industrment manufacturing company, with almost 3 decades running the business, now with more than 500 professionals within 20 countries in Europe, Asia, America armed with 15 facilites. With well-recogintion of family-own company culture, impressive of the well-training system, employee caring and stable employment. Now in China, they are fast moving business here, since build up the business more than 10 years, with employees around 100, now they are looking for 


  • In line with our company vision and operational values, the Operations Manager together with all stakeholders, will help set-up and subsequently develop manufacturing operations in China.  The Operations Manager will have the responsibility for the delivery and execution of all performance related metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and profitability objectives for the manufacturing operations in China


         Working with relevant stakeholders, the China Operations Manager has departmental       responsibility for:

  • Facilities help secure and outfit premises suitable for manufacturing and subsequently ensure EHS expectations are achieved, the facility is maintained, and budget is adhered to.
  • Manufacturing Complete build process to include sub-assembly, final build, and final test.
  • Quality Assurance, Goods in inspection through process quality control and final build quality
  • Planning / Scheduling Order processing, through schedule and production planning
  • Warehousing Stock control, goods in and out and production kit assembly
  • Safety and the Environment Compliance to all regulatory policies required for manufacturing
  • Setup foundation for manufacturing within China
  • Delivering a production schedule to meet customer requirements
  • Drive value added activities and develop lean manufacturing processes
  • Drive engagement and motivation of operational employees
  • Achieve operational KPI’s and departmental objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Quality management and regulatory compliance strategies

Job Requirements


  • Engineering background BA in Engineering
  • Experience in setting up small scale manufacturing operations, willing to be heavily hands on in the early stages.
  • Experience in manufacturing in a small/medium business environment.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience of implementing lean manufacturing processes (Six Sigma training advantageous)
  • Experience of running effective Kaizen teams
  • Knowledge & understanding of ERP/MRP business systems (SAP Business One advantageous)
  • Microsoft office
  • 5-10 years working expereince in manageer level
