 Our client is a multinational company with metal fastening products with Head office in Swistzland, worldwide network of 17 subsidiaries with over 1500 employees.

Job Title: Global Key Accout Manager-E-motor


Report to: Global Key Account  Director in Swiss office


Location: Shanghai Pudong Office 

The Key Account Manager is responsible for one or more Key Account (KA) customers on a global scale. Being responsable for the entire Key Account, he/she defines the key account strategy, the relationship management, lead generation, opportunity development, RfQ handling, pricing, contract negotiation, etc. He/she is moreover the main point of contact (POC) for the Key Account customer for all applications and actively pursues business potentials in other applications at the key account.

  • Main accountabilities/Activities:

    • Assume global responsibility for the business in KAs assigned
    • Define, monitor and review account strategy for assigned key accounts, long-term growth target per application per key account and budgeting targets for KA
    • Develop business at key account according to targets, drives sales activities to serve the key account’s needs and interact with key buying centers
    • Oversee global price management, commercial terms (shipping, payment, contracts etc.), and engineering change requests, facilitate commercial reviews with key accounts
    • Identify technical challenges, promote innovation, coordinate development and drive customer adoption of solutions
    • Manages customer projects and assume responsibility for the KA contracts
    • For E-Mobility prospect key accounts, orchestrate business development activities and build inroads to decision makers


Job Requirements

    • Great personal drive and presentation / communication skills for audiences ranging from the “shop-floor" to the executive level
    • Experience and talented in collaborating effectively in cross-functional or matrix environment
    • Resilient – able to adapt and perform in changing customer environments
    • Ability to handle negotiations, tense or confrontational situations
    • Excellent time management, decision-making and project management capabilities
    • International exposure, culturally aware
    • Active listener, coach mentality, able to constructively challenge
  •         3+ years experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales management, preferably experienced in dealing with OEMs and Tier 1
  •        University Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. in Engineering or Business) combined with relevant technical experience


  •       Profound experience with sales of technical products requiring in-depth explanations
  •       Competency in management of key accounts and associated networking
  •       Experience in the Vehicle industry (Tier Supplier) is a major plus
  •     Strong commercial acumen, understanding of a P&L, high affinity for numbers, proficiency in Excel, great analytical skills
  •     Sound track record in Project Management
  •     Business Proficiency in English (oral and written communication skills)
