Our client is an international manufacturer of driving systems and components, with Office in Europe, through 30 countries running the business with the facility in American as Canada, USA, Germany, Asia China, around 5,000 professionals armed supporting the clients locally, roughly Sales Revenue of ERUO$2,000 Million , this is full of creative and energetic company. They have set up two plants in China with about 600 staffs including a new plant building up in Shanghai nearby , which is almost 20-30% Sales increase with the business growing in the fast years, therefore. Currently they are looking for a high caliber to drive the business growth
Establish and maintain EHS management system based on Global policies and procedures, , Chinese laws and ISO standards;
Leading the team, plan and implement China’s EHS compliance strategy
Provide guidance and support to the BUs/Functions regarding corporate EHS policies, procedures, standards and national regulations;
Lead the team to provide EHS support to business throughout China;
Lead the team to monitor and ensure all EHS policy and regulation are effectively implemented;
Arrange and conduct EHS training, promotion and communication to improve employee’s awareness and competence of EHS;
Conduct EHS audit and oversee to the implementation of the remediation actions;
Ensure emergency response plans in place and aligning with local regulatory, regional, divisional and corporate requirements.
Track the EHS requirement of government and build effective communication with government;
Establish and implement processes for internal and external timely communication when significant EHS issues arise
Assist in the prevention of work-related illness and injury and maximize employee protection
To be Responsible for laboratory environmental protection, employee occupational health and labour protection management;
To be responsible for the safety management
To be responsible for the update of record of equipment and instruments and reagent. Implement classification and standardized management .
Be familiar with national laws, regulations, policy formulation. Timely update management policy and SOP to ensure effective operation.
Job Requirements
Major in EHS-, Engineering related background
BS above degree in manufacturing environmental or occupational health and Safety or equivalent combination of training & experience.
At least 10 years working and leadership experience in the environmental, health, & safety field
Strong knowledge of local environmental and safety regulations
Experienced in leading EHS and/or related function in MNC
Ability to influence up, down and across the organization
Possess strong leadership, training, problem solving, and decision making skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and serve multiple sites
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Fluent in English
Ability to achieve goals independently within a challenging time frame
